Army Public School PRTC was established by Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) on April 1, 2012. The school aims to provide quality education to children of defense personnel despite frequent transfers. Currently has approximately 1500 students.

Merit-based admission with entrance test and interview. Priority 1: Children of serving Army personnel and Army widows. Priority 2: Children of retired Army personnel. Civilian admissions available subject to seat availability.
